PokéAPI api-data / sprites

Pokémon names, National Pokédex numbers, form identifiers, and base images are imported from a pinned revision. Your browser does not request these assets directly from GitHub; required images are included with the Chandelure Pick deployment.

The PokéAPI sprites repository distributes the repository under CC0 while noting that rights to the image content belong to The Pokémon Company. Pokémon and related images remain the property of their respective rights holders.

PokéSprite

The Strange Ball, which is unavailable in PokéAPI item images, is served locally from a pinned PokéSprite revision. Sprite copyrights belong to Nintendo, Creatures, and GAME FREAK.

Legal Matching Pokéballs 2.1

With permission, we use OracleLink’s Normal and Shiny Poké Ball matching guide as the initial source of external recommendations. Only combinations explicitly listed in the source are recorded as verified legal combinations.

Poké Ball effect video

The Poké Ball Effects page embeds オシャボ厨ch’s video covering all 27 Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Poké Ball effects using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. The player does not load when you merely open the page; it connects to YouTube only after you choose to play a video.

How legality labels work

Labels reflect combinations that can currently exist, including transfers from earlier games through Pokémon HOME. A combination is marked legal or illegal only when verified evidence is available; all others remain unknown.

Legality labels are reference information. Illegal or unverified Poké Balls are neither hidden nor disabled and can still receive votes and appear in results.
